UK premium rate services (PRS) regulator PhonepayPlus has confirmed its budget for 2012/2013, following consultation with industry and approval from Ofcom. It expects the total cost of PRS regulation in 2012/13, covering PhonepayPlus’ core activity and the Registration Scheme, to be around GBP 4.09 million. PhonepayPlus has announced the adjusted industry levy for 2012/13 together with a new Registration Scheme fee structure for the coming financial year.
